An exciting and educational 2-day trek from the east coast of Malekula to the west. Walk across the rugged Dog’s Head from the Small Nambas territory to the Big Nambas territory. This is an energetic guided trek that takes in the beautiful scenery and cultures of Northern Malekula.
For fit and energetic adventure-seekers this is a rewarding independent day-trip biking across the “Neck of the Dog” in North Malekula. Your efforts are rewarded by a lunch at Dram Dram Bungalows, followed by a guided walk up the natural limestone cascades of the Losinwei River and a swim in the bush ‘spa’ pools before biking back to Lakatoro.
This energetic half-day guided river walk takes you through lush jungle and limestone pools sculpted by the water and time. After a 1-2 hour walk up the river you reach the majestic Losinwei waterfall where you can cool off or climb up further above the cascades to the hidden pools above. A wonderful trip to do on a hot day!
