The sands are beautiful yellow, lots of shells to view and that’s not even the best part, as soon as you dive into the water for snorkelling within meters you can snorkel over World War II wreckage, sunken boats, caterpillars, artillery and other army items to view. The more you look the more you see – It is such an interesting place with an even more interesting history.

Dive at the “Million Dollar Point“, where the Americans simply dumped all their gear and equipment into the sea at the end of the war – lorries, bulldozers, trucks, containers, forklifts, and all have come to rest, both close to the surface and down to a depth of 40 metres plus, just off the beach. They have transformed into amazing tropical reef homes for the sea life – A truly amazing and worthwhile place to dive!

The easy access to snorkel over this war machinery couldn’t have been designed better by any theme park visionary. The clear visibility and the sensations this site elicitshas a strange effect of somehow connecting you to a powerful past. Don’t miss it!
