For an authentic rural village life experience these traditional bungalows are in the heart of Big Nambas territory in north-west Malekula. The name as ‘Pialo’ refers to the spirit of the Pialo Cave, ‘Kastom’ refers to the Big Nambas tradition and culture, and ‘Small Village’ refers to the 7 or 8 small houses that Beatrice, the bungalow owner, built to host her family and tourists.
